Our client, a FTSE 100 company based in the UK is currently seeking a qualified and experienced International Tax Advisory Manager. This position will be located in the company's central London head office.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Group Head of Tax in London and collaborating closely with the North America Director of Tax, the International Tax Advisory Manager will play a crucial role in cross-border reporting and assessing tax implications related to non-routine events.
Responsibilities:
* Cross Border Tax Reporting
* Ensure compliance with global transfer pricing regulations
* Document and maintain clarity on Group transfer pricing policies
* Prepare annual documentation of UK CFC exemptions
* Advise on tax implications of non-routine events
* Research, document, and report implications of operating in new jurisdictions
* Analyse tax implications of reorganisations and entity rationalisation projects
* Manage tax audits and provide support on various tax-related matters
Requirements:
* Relevant professional qualification in tax and/or accounting
* Post-qualification experience in international taxation, preferably with exposure to US and Canadian taxation
* Enthusiastic approach to learning about new jurisdiction's tax regimes
* Experience with tax research and analysis
* Ability to develop working relationships with non-tax stakeholders
* Strong communication skills in conveying tax concepts to diverse stakeholders
* Self-starter with analytical skills to present alternative solutions
* Understanding of quarterly and annual income tax provisioning under IFRS (advantageous but not required)
