Focusing on Corporate tax affairs and reporting for the UK Group with reporting engagement for international subsidiaries.
Our client is a leading packaging provider listed in the FTSE100 and well-established in just under 40 countries. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional looking to join a highly skilled and efficient tax team within an acquisitive and pro-active business. Reporting into the Direct Tax Lead you will be very engaged with compliance and reporting as well as being an influential voice in transformation and improvement of processes with the opportunity to shape the global tax strategy within a listed business.
The role
* Preparing technical responses to tax accounting queries
* Preparation of UK Corporate Tax returns
* Managing the effective tax rate
* Review of International Corporate Tax computations
* Reporting responsibility under IFRS
* Process improvement: Tax Consolidation software implementation
* Advisory support across projects and entity rationalisations
* Management of PSA preparation
* Maintain positive relationships with Stakeholders including advisors, tax authorities, corporate functions including finance.
About you
In order to succeed in this challenging role, it is expected that you will have:
* 8 years PQE in compliance and reporting
* ACA/CTA or relevant tax qualification
* UK GAAP reporting experience
* Experience working within a UK-listed business
