Global Head of Tax is looking to recruit the company's first Corporate Tax person to be based outside the US HQ. This is an opportunity for a young, ambitious tax professional who is keen to grow in the role. It is likely to be the start of a Tax team in Europe which means this tax manager role has the potential to become Tax Lead for Europe / Rest of World in the future - recruiting others either in Dublin or across the globe.
A good 1st year will see you getting to know the company; building strong relationships in the US & internationally; working closely with the big 4 global tax compliance provider in a number of key countries; looking for ways to improve how non-US tax compliance is completed & planned for; preparing for potential tax audits in the future & helping implement HQ-led tax projects, providing you with a great deal of exposure to the businesses.
From the US HQ Tax teams' perspective, to have someone ‘on the ground’ outside the US will be a great help. You will given Rest of World ownership of tax compliance, reporting, accounting, provisioning (etc) but your initial focus will be on Europe - with the role expanding as you settle in, over time.
This role can alternatively be based across the wider UK.
