The Real Estate Deals Tax team works closely with the wider Deals practice to provide expert guidance on the tax implications of various projects. These projects encompass a wide range of areas, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Credit, Business Recovery Services, and Mergers and Acquisitions. As an integral part of the broader Corporate Tax network, the team are dedicated to fostering collaboration and cross-working across specialties to drive innovation and success while serving clients worldwide.

This particular role is embedded within the Real Estate Tax team, which is the largest specialist team within the global Real Estate network of this Big 4 firm. In this capacity, they lead the way in advising investors on the tax implications of their transactions. Their work is broad in scope, often involving private equity, institutional investors, pension and sovereign wealth funds, and REITs. They frequently provide advice on cross-border structuring tax implications. For many of their clients, they offer comprehensive advisory services related to fund and investment platform setup and maintenance, ultimately guiding them on exit strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

In the role of a Real Estate Deals Tax Senior Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse set of crucial functions, including:

* Providing bespoke tax advice and insights on a continually evolving deal portfolio.
* Playing a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding client relationships and mentoring junior team members.
* Collaborating closely with other Real Estate specialists and different parts of the firm to best address your clients' needs.
* Actively engaging in business development efforts to identify and explore opportunities with new and existing clients.
* Crafting strategies to resolve complex technical challenges for our clients.
* Contributing to the growth of your own and the team's technical expertise while staying updated on business and economic trends.
* Collaborating with other team members on a wide range of deals.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:

* Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI).
* Proven experience working on Real Estate projects for key clients or a demonstrable track record.
* Expertise in advising on UK corporate tax.
* Strong leadership and coaching experience.
* The ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships and networks.
* Well-honed communication skills, including negotiation and influencing capabilities.
* Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects within set deadlines.
