This well-known and successful large accountancy firm, based in Bristol, has a sizable personal tax department and team that represents a diverse range of private persons and clients, including high net worth individuals, landed estates, trusts, and other entities. The firm offers a high-quality compliance service as well as planning services such as IHT planning, CGT planning, and other types of personal tax planning. There will be opportunities to advance your tax career by gaining technical experience and working directly with partners and management.

Your new role

While your initial focus as a Personal Tax Senior based in the firm\'s Bristol offices may be on delivering personal tax compliance and reviewing the work of junior staff, as you progress within the firm and role, you will have more opportunities to deliver broader planning services to a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients. Working with the rest of the management and partner team, you\'ll create relationships with clients and look to advise and deliver on tax advice and other project work. With a clear advancement path on offer, the post and firm give a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your personal tax career.

What you\'ll need to succeed

You may be ATT/ CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified and have worked in a personal tax role within an accountancy firm or a specialised tax firm up to the level of Personal Tax Senior. Your experience will have been gained working for a small or large accounting company or a specialist tax firm that specialises in personal tax compliance and/or tax return scrutiny. You may already have planning and advising experience in addition to your compliance background and want to advance your career in this area as well.

What you\'ll get in return

Circa £48,000 - £54,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable with benefits.
