Assistant Tax Manager (Global Technology company) - Reading / WFH

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Tax Manager for a global technology business in Reading. This role has great progression opportunities, offering a step up to tax manager within 2 years. This company is highly flexible with only two days of travel a week to their offices.

You will play a critical role in supporting the tax department's day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with the tax team to ensure compliance with tax regulations, optimize tax processes, and contribute to the overall success of our tax function.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with tax compliance and reporting across corporate tax for the Group
• Support in the preparation and maintenance of tax provision schedules and financial statements
• Identify tax saving opportunities in the group
• Assist with other taxes on an ad hoc basis across other areas e.g. VAT and TP

Requirements:
• ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent qualification
• Good corporate tax experience with a willingness to develop in other areas
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident attitude, ready to challenge ideas and bring your own to the table
