Senior Tax Manager (Hanau / hybrid)

This newly created Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager position will work closely with the Senior Group Tax Manager, based in the Hanau office and the VP Tax based in Belgium. Germany is a critically important country with many fully fledged businesses in the group. This role is created with succession planning in mind, so perfect for someone ambitious who wants to move forward in their career. Technically the role will be involved in all kinds of direct tax projects. Initial projects could include working on a new system for a TP documentation process also the building of the tax compliance management system. There is a significant amount of business partnerships, such as with major German multinational companies, greenfield investments, joint ventures, with tax structuring to carve out parts of the business.

The Hanau office has over 1000 people, including finance and tax colleagues, as well as a gym, two excellent canteens, parking, etc. Typically, employees are in the office three days per week and two days from home.

This is a great move for a corporate tax professional with at least 5 years of experience, who enjoys partnering with the business, managing projects and taking ownership. There is scope to make the role more senior as well, should you bring more than 8 years of experience. There is a lot of support but also a lot of room to take your own initiative.
