Cedar is currently partnered with a large, UK based Telco Business to secure an Interim Finance Manager based in Bristol (3 days a week). The role is a 12-month initial contract, paying a between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.

This Financial Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in the preparation and dissemination of financial statements and regulatory reports. These reports and the accompanying analysis are essential for both internal and external stakeholders, helping to meet stringent regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
1 Spearheading the delivery of financial reporting across all cycles, ensuring the provision of top-quality financial data.
2 Analyzing financial information and crafting internal reporting tools that function as crucial control and governance documentation for financial disclosures and regulatory filings.
3 Providing monthly result analysis to offer insights into business performance trends.
4 Contributing to the design of enhancements in financial data, processes, and systems to support comprehensive analysis and informed decision-making.
5 Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures related to customer-specific trade expenditure.
6 Identifying potential risks and opportunities, and offering recommendations to address them effectively.
7 Driving the automation and optimization of manual tasks involving large volumes of data from various sources.
8 Offering guidance and technical support to junior team members to resolve problems effectively.
9 Continuously developing and sharing knowledge within the team regarding emerging trends and changes in accounting, reporting, and financial control principles and practices.
10 Taking into account risk, regulation, and uncertainty in short-term decisions, ensuring the identification and management of risks through clear accountabilities and support for a robust risk culture and control environment.
11 Implementing ongoing improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting, reporting, and financial control processes, as well as resolving data-related issues that impact productivity and compliance.
