We are currently looking for a private client tax portfolio manager in our growing private client tax offering. You will be managing a client portfolio and work within the tax team

You must have experience of working in Tax in a practice environment.

This is a new role. 

Requirements: Post qualified experience within a practice environment including:

Providing a technically competent taxation service to clients
Where necessary, being responsible and coaching more junior team members working on your jobs
Setting budgets personally and active adherence to them
Deal directly with clients in person and on the phone, constantly building strong relationships
Identify and understand clients needs, including sometimes providing initial solutions to client challenges,
Be innovative in the way you approach you work and always look for opportunities to break new ground and create efficiencies
Take responsibility for maintaining annual training requirements and be pro active in identifying your own training needs
Adhering to internal admin including billing clients and debt collection where required
About you:

Suitably qualified tax professional i.e. CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA
You will be self motivated, possess a good telephone manner and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with clients and colleagues. You will need an aptitude for analytical thinking and good attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team or on your own are all qualities needed to succeed in this role
You have good time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and budgets. You are able to prepare and present information through liaising with other team members and have the understanding and appreciation of other people’s and the organisations targets
