Role Overview: As a Personal Tax Manager, you will take the lead in managing a portfolio of clients and play a vital role in overseeing the work of junior members in the personal tax team. You'll also support the Tax Directors & Partners in managing and controlling the activities and performance of the personal tax department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of clients and maximize fee income.
* Oversee the production and review of personal tax returns for your portfolio and junior team members.
* Plan, control, and review ad hoc work to ensure it meets required standards, timeframes, and budgets.
* Address tax queries from Partners/Directors.
* Assist with billing and carry out consultancy work when required.
* Attend client meetings as appropriate.
* Design and implement standard letters/systems to enhance department efficiency.
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and research.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

* CTA/ACA qualified; QBE may be considered.
* At least 2 years PQE.
* Current technical knowledge.
* Proficiency in IT (Excel, Word, tax software).
* Strong communication skills (oral and written).
* Supervisory and organisational skills.
* Client-focused with commercial awareness.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to thrive under pressure.
* Positive and committed attitude towards clients and staff.
