The ideal candidate

Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual with a solid foundation in core corporate tax technical or income tax knowledge and the confidence to engage with clients and the marketplace. As a Tax Senior Manager in the Alternative Funds team, you will have the chance to:

* Develop and lead client relationships and the team, including collaboration with the wider client service team.
* Deeply understand clients' businesses and identify opportunities to provide tax and related services.
* Take ownership of providing tax advice on a diverse range of projects, involving comprehensive technical research.
* If relevant, assume responsibility for the final deliverables in the tax compliance process, including partnership tax returns, corporation tax returns, and investor reports. You'll also engage in tax accounting work to support clients with their statutory reporting.
* Actively contribute to business development activities, including the development and refinement of cutting-edge client propositions.
* Ensure adherence to all risk procedures.

The person our client is Looking For:

* Qualified CTA or ACA/CA equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax or income tax, with an awareness of other tax and accounting areas. Previous experience within the financial services sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with effective oral and written communication abilities.
