Your new role
As Tax Reporting Manager you'll deliver accurate tax data to key stakeholders across the Group - responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting numbers, including tax forecasts for defined entities; whilst assessing tax accounting implications of M&A transactions and the impact of legislative changes in the UK and the US from a country and group tax reporting perspective.
You'll be involved in decision-making on any additional tax disclosures to meet the requirements of the broader tax transparency agenda, whilst working in a collaborative friendly team of direct tax professionals at our corporate HO. Key Accountabilities:
* Execution of the group tax reporting process.
* Tax reporting model to deliver accurate tax data to internal and external stakeholders.
* Tax input into the Group's budgeting and forecasting processes, modelling the ETR and cash tax forecast.
* Technical input on GAAP tax conversion matters.
* Consider the tax and tax accounting implications of new legislation as well as new or amendments accounting standards
* Manage the Group's transparency and CbCR reporting process (with appropriate support from the Tax Operations team).
* Tax SoX controls during the year end group tax reporting process and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.
* Model maintenance for calculation of Global Minimum Tax
* Annual settlement of group relief and inter-company balances
* Tax account reconciliations performed throughout the year.
* At the forefront of assessing and implementing more technologies solutions to meet the Group's digitalisation ambitions
What you\'ll need to succeed
You're a qualified Tax professional (CTA or ACA), either from Big 4 Professional Services where you manage the global tax reporting processes of large multi-national companies, or an in-house Tax Reporting specialist. You're an expert in your field with excellent numeracy, technical tax and accounting knowledge. If you have exposure to US tax in addition to UK tax, this will be very highly regarded. In person, you're a team player, able to operate in a large matrix environment with many stakeholders, who enjoys open and honest communication, diligent, reliable and career focussed.
