Kingpin International are thrilled to bring to the market an exciting new opportunity for a Manager/Senior Manager in Indirect Sales Tax, where you will be addressing sales tax concerns for international clientele and providing guidance on consumption taxes. This role can be carried out from multiple German locations including Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Bremen, Frankfurt/Main, Stuttgart, Munich or Hanover.
Excellent German and English are essential to be successful in this role.
Your key responsibilities
As the Senior Manager in Indirect Sales Tax, your role will involve addressing sales tax concerns for international clientele and providing guidance on consumption taxes. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, such as offering sales tax advice to multinational companies as the primary point of contact. You will also be responsible for independently executing sales tax projects, including those related to cross-border deliveries and other services, taking into account the digital transformation in the sales tax domain. Additionally, you will prepare sales tax reports and extend support for restructuring projects. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in accompanying company audits, special sales tax audits, and handling objections and lawsuits.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess several years of hands-on experience in both national and international tax consulting, with a specific focus on sales tax, having held managerial roles for a minimum of 4 years and senior managerial positions for 6 years. In addition to their extensive practical experience, they must have successfully passed the tax consultant exam and completed relevant studies in economics, finance, or law, showcasing their dedication to professional growth. Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous approach to their work are essential.
Proficiency in both German and English languages is also essential.
