R&D Tax Incentive, Business Development Manager

Kingpin is currently working in partnership with a renowned and dynamic innovation consulting firm, that is seeking a driven and exceptionally skilled Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding team in the vibrant city of Brussels, Belgium. Your key responsibilities

As a vital member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to generate leads and secure sales by conducting thorough market research and leveraging your extensive personal network. Building strong and enduring relationships with consultants, external professionals, and associations will play a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing business leads through valuable referrals. You will take charge of the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting to crafting persuasive proposals, while actively collaborating with management to devise impactful sales and marketing strategies. By gaining a deep understanding of the unique business climates, challenges, and strategic needs of potential clients, you will develop compelling proposals that have a positive and transformative impact on their organisations. Additionally, you will provide invaluable guidance and support to your fellow team members, fostering a highly collaborative and synergistic working environment.


Requirements

To excel in the role of Business Development Manager, we seek an ideal candidate who holds a bachelor's degree, preferably accompanied by a post-graduate qualification. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in successfully selling innovation funding services to mid-market clients. Previous involvement with a prominent consulting firm or expertise in SR&ED is highly valued. The selected candidate should possess a proven track record of employing a sales methodology to generate promising business leads and skillfully navigate the entire sales cycle until contract finalization. Familiarity with success fee agreements would be a valuable asset. Strong client orientation and exceptional communication skills are paramount, with fluency in both French and English being indispensable.
