Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with financial services businesses to enhance their tax position, address tax compliance obligations, and manage tax risk across various areas, including tax structuring and operational tax issues.
* Engage directly with clients, partnering with large and complex financial institutions to oversee and manage their tax compliance obligations effectively.
* Cultivate and manage your diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of client service and building strong relationships.
* Identify new opportunities to deliver value to clients and contribute to business growth.
* Proactively manage existing relationships and participate in efforts to attract new clients, playing a crucial role in business development activities.

What we're looking for:

To excel as a Financial Services Tax Associate Director, you should meet the following criteria:

* Hold a professional qualification such as CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent.
* Demonstrate competence in managing a portfolio of clients.

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

* Strong tax technical skills and a keen interest in the financial services sector (previous experience working with financial services clients is not essential).
* Proven track record of leading projects with a focus on accountability, delivering high-quality results within set timelines.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Thrive as a team player, demonstrating motivation and dedication.
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills and exhibit strong oral and written communication abilities.
* Experience coaching and developing junior team members.
