Global law firm looking to recruit a Tax Senior for their in-house team. Great team environment
I'm working with a global law firm who are currently looking to recruit a Tax Senior into the in-house tax team. The Tax Senior will work as part of the Tax team, alongside Financial Planning & Analysis, Group Financial Reporting and Elite Support teams, to provide a proactive reporting and support service to the Firm including management accounts, statutory reporting, board reporting, projects and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the completion of all tax compliance obligations in the UK and internationally including income and corporation tax computations and returns, tax provisioning, VAT, tax relief claims and tax payments
* Assist with the preparations of LLP members tax reserves for the annual financial accounts, ensuring adequate tax reserves for each partner
* Liaise with relevant tax authorities in relation to partner taxes
* Assist with the preparation and calculations of tax payments
Required Experience:
* Preparation of Personal tax returns
* Preparation of Corporate tax returns desirable
* Preparation of Partnership tax returns desirable
* Previous tax experience in a professional practice environment desirable
* CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
* Strong understanding and practical use of Excel
* Previous VAT compliance experience desirable
* Strong attention to detail and discipline in managing your own workload
