Interim Head of Tax - London

Reporting to the CFO for this listed international group, in this role you will work with a diverse range of stakeholders within both the corporate functions and operating businesses, you will require the experience to manage the relationships with external advisers, internal business partners and tax authorities.

During the 6 month period you will be responsible for delivering on a variety of tax projects as well oversight and management of a small global team.

Projects will be varied and will look to focus on areas of IP ownership, R&S and financing and impacts of loss utilisation. Work closely with the business advising them on the tax implications of any new business initiatives including TP policy change and FX planning to minimise taxable income fluctuations. During the contract there will be a requirement to manage half year end reporting process and oversee tax audits.

You will have extensive experience operating at a Head of Tax or Tax Partner level with large international groups. You will have the ability to operate effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment and possess a broad and deep knowledge of both UK and international tax matters.

There is a possibility for a longer term extension within this role.
