Private Client Tax Senior Manager - Top 6 Accountancy firm, Midlands
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager or experienced Manager to join our client, a leading Top 6 firm based in Birmingham. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and their complex tax affairs, ensuring that all compliance deadlines are met and providing exceptional tax advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships, and oversee the preparation of their tax returns and tax calculations
* Provide technical support and advice to our clients on a range of private client tax matters, including inheritance tax planning, trusts, capital gains tax, and non-domiciled individuals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, identifying opportunities for further advisory work and ensuring client satisfaction
* Mentor and develop junior members of the team, providing training and guidance on complex tax matters
* Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge with the wider team
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
* Significant experience in private client tax, gained within a Top 10 accountancy firm or similar environment
* Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice to clients
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
* Experience in managing a team and mentoring junior members
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively
