German Tax Manager, London / Hybrid - £75000 - £90000 + bonus

Our client is a fast-growth business searching for a German Tax Manager to join the global tax team located in central London.

As a German Tax Manager, you will be the German tax expert across multiple tax disciplines and work closely with the German team. The tax team is headquartered in London and you will report to the Senior Manager. Some of your responsibilities include:

* Manage and review annual corporate income tax returns, trade tax returns and VAT returns of the German entities, and to a lesser extent, the Swiss and Austrian entities.
* Support with tax reporting performed on a quarterly basis and the annual closing requirements under IFRS and local GAAP (HGB).
* Lead and manage relationships with the German tax authorities and stakeholders of the business.
* Manage transfer pricing documentation that is handled by external advisors.

To be considered, you should be Steuerberater (StB) qualified and have an excellent understanding of German tax group matters. You will also be assessed on your English and German language skills to communicate effectively with the local finance teams.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of c.£75,000-£90,000 depending on your experience plus bonus and benefits. The team work on a hybrid basis and goes into the central London office 2-3 days per week. You will also fly to Hamburg about once a month to work closely with the local finance team.
