VAT Manager - Geneva, Switzerland - J141

Kingpin International are bringing an incredible, brand-new opportunity for a passionate VAT Manager, where you will join an ambitious global team. The role will be based in the Geneva office.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily support to all VAT compliance activities across a number of complex projects in the EMEA sector. This will include managing RTR obligations, acting as the point of contact for external compliance providers, processing final reconciliations, reviewing and making payments of VAT returns, ensuring reconciliation gap resolutions and managing VAT audits. You will also be responsible for the transformation to automation where you will actively identify any automation opportunities while working in conjunction with the IT team to maintain compliance.

Requirements
We are looking for tax professionals with a minimum of 7 years within a similar role, working efficiently in a high-volume, high-demand environment. You will be fluent in English, with French or German being advantageous but not essential. Being fully up to date with all European VAT legislation and prior experience with VAT compliance, internal audits and tax authority audits is essential, along with awareness of new digital financial reporting requirements.
