Senior Manager - Tax Process Improvement & Compliance Oversight

to £100,000 base salary plus at least 20% bonus & excellent benefits

We are expanding the Tax team of a fast-growing Financial Services business in London. Three new recruits are required and we have already found two.

You will only need to come to the offices in Central London two days per week (of your choosing) but you can, of course, spend as many days in the office as you wish.

Banking Tax knowledge would be a plus but is not essential. The Head of Tax is happy to invest a great deal of time in Year 1 in helping you gain the experience you need.

For the Head of Tax it is more about finding someone with an enquiring mind; someone who likes to learn new things; someone who enjoys looking at current ways of working and putting in place new procedures & processes; looking at what both the Finance team (internally) and Big 4 (externally) do in the Tax process and seeing what can be done better by someone working within the Tax team.

Compliance will remain outsourced and you will be responsible for managing the relationship with the external advisers.

We need someone with very strong UK Corporate tax accounting & tax compliance oversight skills (and ideally some tax reporting experience).

The Head of Tax would be very happy to have an informal chat with you - in fact, the whole recruitment process will be very friendly & informal.
