I am partnering with a UK Headquartered Group based in the Northern Home Counties to hire a Head of Tax to lead the function through the Group's next stage of growth. It is an exciting time to join and be a part of a successful finance leadership team who are driving change and raising standards across the Group. You will manage 3 direct reports and key responsibilities include:
* Develop, maintain and implement the tax strategy for the Group including obtaining annual Board sign off
* Develop and maintain the Tax Control Framework including CCO and SAO
* Optimise the tax position of the Group through engaging and partnering with the business, providing commercial advice on business led projects and group structuring
* Ensure the Group is fully compliant across all taxes and own the relationship with HMRC
* Management and development of 3 direct reports
This is a key role that has visibility and adds value across key corporate functions. This is a unique proposition in that the Group is large and complex, but yet you'll be able to make a significant impact and add value. You will be an experienced Head of Tax who can demonstrate credibility and commerciality with senior stakeholders and peers. The Head of Office is based in Hertfordshire (very easily commutable from London) and operate hybrid working so anticipate you being in the office 2-3 times a week. Get in touch for more information.
