Interim Head of Tax, Northern Home Counties / Hybrid, to £150k + bonus

An interim opportunity has arisen for a Head of Tax to lead the tax function of this UK Headquartered Group based in the Northern Home Counties. The role will allow for a handover with the incumbent, provide continuity with the team and business whilst the permanent search is underway, and then a subsequent handover to the permanent replacement.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Adding value to the business on M&A activity, transformation projects, group restructuring and review of tax legislation to ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities are optimised
* Support the business with implementation of the tax strategy and ensure the tax risk framework is being maintained including CCO compliance and SAO sign off
* Assume overall responsibility over compliance across all taxes and lead the relationship with HMRC
* Management and development of a high performing team

You will need to have experience leading a tax function, driving change and adding value through M&A projects, identifying opportunities, entity rationalisation etc. The client is operating a hybrid working model so is looking for someone to be in the office 2-3 days a week.
