Your new company
Your new Lancashire based chartered accountancy practice command both a local and regional presence within the accountancy market, and have a history of winning new work. They provide a broad range of services to an esteemed and varied client base spanning almost all general accountancy services. These include but are not limited to; accounts preparation and management accounts, auditing, business support, corporate finance, taxation, tax planning, wealth management, contractor services and making tax digital.

Your new role
Your new role in this chartered accountancy firm based in Lancashire is multi-faceted in nature. You will predominantly be brought in to handle the complex tax affairs that the practice's clients have queries on and help them manage their business from an informed and strategic standpoint. This role will involve business development in the expansion of the firm's allocation. You will work with the existing team of client managers to assist them with their more complex queries and be available to review certain elements of compliance, however the client managers generally keep their personal tax returns within their teams. This role will require experience of share schemes, company reorganisations, demergers, acquisitions and company sales, EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, IHT, Capital Gains, trusts, director exit strategies and more.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this Lancashire based job opportunity as a Tax Manager / Senior Manager you will be ACA/CTA/ACCA/ATT qualified and have a proven track record operating at a high standard in a similar role working for a mid-sized (or bigger) accounting practice. You will be organised, efficient and confident when dealing with your varied client portfolio and host meetings to work through and provide support regarding your client business decisions. You will spot opportunities for your new firm and encourage these be taken to maintain a high level of accurate and productive service be provided on behalf of your new firm.
