Group Tax Manager - Remote, Manufacturing

My client, a leading Manufacturing business, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Tax Manager to join their team. As the Group Tax Manager, you will be responsible for tax reporting, transfer pricing, international corporate tax compliance and the oversight of VAT compliance across the business.

Responsibilities:

- Manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting and filings.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies in compliance with local regulations and best practices.
- Getting involved in a number of ad hoc advisory projects.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on tax matters, including tax planning, M&A transactions and other projects.
- Work closely with external tax advisors and authorities to manage tax audits and enquiries.
- Review and monitor VAT compliance processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes where necessary.
- Support the wider finance team in forecasting and budgeting for tax obligations.

Requirements:

- A professional tax qualification (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a tax role is preferred but not required.
- Experience in managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of transfer pricing policies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage tax risks.
- Experience in managing VAT compliance processes is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Package:

- Salary c. £80,000
