Interim Senior International Tax Manager/ Director, Surrey, to £140k

An interim opportunity for a Senior International Tax Manager has arisen working in a large multinational group head quartered in Surrey. This is a strategic role that will form part of the tax leadership team and focus on international tax planning, structuring work and business partnering.

The tax team is going through a period of transformation and growth so there are plenty of opportunities for high quality, advisory led projects as well as permanent leadership opportunities. You will have one direct report with additional reports a possibility depending on approvals and success of the individual.

Key responsibilities include:

* Lead design and implementation of key Group Tax projects, including cash repatriation, group restructuring and financing projects.
* Identify relevant tax legislation, administration or policy changes impacting the Group, advice and ensure appropriate action is taken, whether it be risk mitigation or opportunity identification.
* Proactively support and partner with the business with the aim of creating sustainable value for the Group whilst proactively managing tax risks.
* Manage the relationship with HMRC, including the CCM as well as with any international tax audit enquiries.

This is an exciting, advisory led role that will lead on the strategy for International Tax planning and advisory. It would suit an experienced Senior Manager or Director who enjoys this being the focus of their role. Although the role is for 6 months initially, there is scope for extension or a permanent role that would see you building and leading this area of the tax team.
