Group Tax Accountant, Warrington, to £50k + bonus

In-House Group Tax Accountant – Permanent – Warrington - £45,000 to £50,000 + Bonus and Benefits (Hybrid working)

We are delighted to be working with an international business that has grown considerably in the last few years and will continue to grow through acquisition and diversifying activities in the next phase of its development. To ensure they have the right support they are looking to expand their highly regarded tax team and want to strengthen and gear up for an increased work load and appoint to the newly created role of Group Tax Accountant. This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to be trained and mentored by an incredible and talented Head of Tax.

THE ROLE:

Prepare the UK year end provision workings for inclusion in the Group’s accounts.
Assist with the UK corporation tax returns including corporate interest restrictions, controlled foreign companies and group relief /loss planning.
Prepare corporation tax payments on accounts.
Be involved in transfer pricing workings and documentation.
Undertake technical research to support various tax and accounting projects.
Support the wider finance team with month end management accounting procedures.
Assist with statutory reporting.

THE PERSON:

Ideally you will be a qualified (or part qualified) accountant with strong tax experience.
It is essential you are strong team player who is self-motivated and driven.
Commercially astute, curious and enthusiastic.
Flexible with the ability to adapt to different situations.
