Group Tax Manager - Fully Remote UK based, to £80k + bens

A global energy and engineering business is looking to recruit a Group Tax Manager to join their business, on a remote basis.

There might be occasional travel 2-3 days a month to the Aberdeen office.

Role:

* Direct and indirect taxes for the group entities
* International tax compliance
* Group tax provisioning and all tax requirements for entity statutory reporting
* Reviewing and setting tax policies across the business
* Preparation of all group entity corporate tax filings
* Preparation of tax provisions for audit purposes -UK GAAP/IFRS
* Preparation or review of quarterly forecasts for the UK & US corporate groups
* Manage relationships with tax authorities
* Ensure statutory and tax compliance for the Group in all financial matters.
* Assist where required from tax perspective on any acquisitions, due diligence work.
* Review and approval prior to submission of various VAT/GST filings including but not limited to UK, Singapore, Indonesia and India, Denmark, UAE.
* Oversee and manager VAT or sales tax audits
* Oversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual R&D reports as required.
* Lead restructuring and other planning opportunities
* Provide advisory support on employment tax issues

Essential:

* Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant or equivalent
* Strong Tax accounting skills (UK GAAP, IFRS)
* Strong corporate tax experience
