EU Indirect Tax Manager - 6 months

EU Indirect Tax Manager job requires a VAT Manager who has international VAT/Indirect Tax experience.

Reporting to the Head of Tax and taking ownership of the indirect tax function for the European entities of this international company. The role will be primarily working from home, with 1-2 days per week in their Shared Service Centre in Northamptonshire. By visiting the Shared Service Centre, you will interact with the finance team and other relevant parties in relation to the progress of this role.

Starting at the beginning of February, this role is for 6 months and will involve:

* Review the EU indirect tax returns.
* Review internal processes and controls and look for improvements.
* Liaise with local Tax Authorities and external advisors on queries.
* Support the business on the VAT implications of business activities.

To be considered for this role you must have indirect tax experience in a review capacity and also in advisory, and to have had the in-house experience of interacting with the front line business on VAT matters.

A great combination of compliance management and advisory duties exists in this role, whilst working for a supportive Head of Tax who is keen on developing a positive fit for purpose tax function.
