Head of Tax Search!: Hi all, delighted to have been instructed by a multinational conglomerate, to appoint their Head of Tax here in London.

The role is responsible for a small team (CT & VAT) and tasked to develop strategy, manage risk and ensure the overall tax position of the group is optimised. The business is ever changing and complex and therefore consistently generates interesting advisory work.

* To lead the delivery of direct and indirect tax services across Europe
* Responsibility for UK tax compliance, IFRS reporting and filling.
* Tax governance (risk management) and leading relationships with relevant stakeholders.
* Responsibility for the delivery of tax audits across Europe
* Providing technical and commercial advice on tax risk management, M&A and operational transactions
* To lead a team of four tax specialists (including the provision of mentoring and coaching)
* Provide tax training across the business and raise awareness
* Ensure effective controls and governance in place.
* Act as a trusted and key business partner across the group.
* Ensure a strategic approach to tax planning to optimise group opportunities and manage risk.
