Head of Tax - Family Office - Miami - (or ability to travel regularly)

This is a newly created Head of Tax opportunity at a billionaire's family office in Miami. You will be responsible for the tax compliance, tax planning and setting up the tax function.

Broadly the role will cover:

Compliance and Reporting
- Tax return preparation, including: K-1s, 1099s, charitable giving-related items, art sales, home sales, travel log, etc.
- Florida domicile monitoring

Planning
- Trust and estate planning
- International and domestic deals and transactions in other major asset classes (VC, PE, HF, real estate, art, etc)

Family office setup and operation
- New entity creation
- Tax return review with advisors
- Estimated tax payment calculations

Ideally you will have 10+ years of Big 4 or in-house UHNW or family office tax experience, thrive in a fast paced environment and able to communicate at all levels of management in front, middle and back office.
