A leading Advisor is looking for a Qualified Tax Lawyer (minimum Legal degree) to join a close knit team in Bahrain. You will work with a high calibre group of Tax Lawyers on outbound tax matters across M&A Tax and International tax issues.
The team is looking for a Manager and or Senior Manager with experience across Tax structuring advice, Tax DD reviews/SPA agreements, Tax Modelling. The role and the client exposure in question is simply unparalleled in the GCC. This role offer fast track progression/commercial exposure and technical experience, that would take years to experience in another region/jurisdiction.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge & training of M&A practices, including, consulting multinational corporations, privately held companies and partnerships with respect to the tax aspects of planning, structuring and executing transactions of all sizes; analysing proposed transactions for unusual tax risks or undetermined tax benefits; and advising clients on tax-efficient restructurings, divestitures, spin-offs, due diligence and strategy formulation.
The ideal person will come from a established tax region (UK, Ireland, EU, Australasia etc) and be interested in a full relocation to the Middle East.
