Corporate Tax Manager working for a well established Top 10 accountancy firm based in Manchester

Your new firm
Your new firm are a well known Top 10 accountancy firm based in Manchester City Centre. With offices across the UK they have strong growth plans, specifically in Manchester and across the North. The firm as a whole really look after their people, with development of staff at the top of their agenda. Due to growth within the tax team in Manchester, they are now looking to bring in a strong corporate tax manager to working within their advisory function.

Your new role
Your new role you will be joining the firm at a Tax Manager level, working within the corporate tax function. delivering a range of complex advisory projects. its a real growth area for the firm, so with the role comes plenty of opportunity for development, growth and promotion. You will be working with a good mix of clients, giving tax advice to OMBs, large multi national groups and listed companies. Typically you will be working on tax risk, mergers and reorganisations, R&D and venture capital. This is a great role for someone who wants to take the step up and take on a more complex workload, whilst having the support and backing of a large organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong tax background, ideally having corporate tax experience. You will be focusing on corporate tax advisory, however the firm are open to candidates with purely corporate tax compliance experience, that are willing to learn and take a step up. You need to the ATT / ACA / CTA qualified with some management experience.
