International Tax Manager (interim role with Africa focus) - to £110k

This leading multinational business has an opening for an International Tax Manager to join the tax department on an interim basis. The primary objective of the role is to manage the corporate and indirect tax affairs of the group in Africa.

Your duties will encompass the following:

* Identifying, monitoring and managing tax risks (direct and indirect) within Africa.
* Act as the main point of contact for corporate tax compliance services and transfer pricing services, provided by external accounting firms.
* In conjunction with the finance teams, ensure there is proper compliance with VAT, customs duties, payroll taxes, municipal and local taxes.
* Assist with review of any indirect tax computation, when needed.
* Oversee the preparation and completion of tax reporting packages for the purposes of: Annual Accounts process, Interim & Quarterly Accounts process and Budget process
* International tax project work

Suitable candidates with have relevant international tax experience, gained in a commercial organisation or professional services firm. Other atributes include being flexible and inquisitive, with the ability to make reasoned decisions in a fast paced environment. You will enjoy working as part of a team and be capable of developing close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will suit someone who is looking to work on a fully remote basis.A hybrid working model may also be considered.
