Vice President, Tax for a European Headquartered Bank.
Our client is an established Bank that has a strong presence across Europe. They are looking to hire a Tax VP to work in the established European tax team. The role is focused on advising the bank's network and clients on key international tax advice.

The Role
* Ensure the business meets its statutory obligations for filing tax returns and paying taxes due
* Ensure the business manages its tax affairs in a tax-efficient manner
* Manage and assist the businesses relationship with HMRC
* Preparation and submission within statutory time limits, and agree on corporation tax computations for a portfolio of the firms UK entities
* Assist with the efficient management of the group's corporate tax affairs, including; tax payments forecasting, efficient loss utilisation, control of claims and elections and planning
* Provide accurate tax advice as requested by UK and EU entities
* Responsible for keeping the staff appraised of legislative changes
* Work alongside the UK Head of Tax informing them of issues arising / opinions given
* Supervise the group entities in Ireland and the Channel Islands
About you
To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
* Experience working in an international bank
* Accountancy qualification required; tax qualification preferred
* Strong corporate tax filing system experience
* Confident and self-motivated
* Ability to communicate with key stakeholders
