If you are fed up of being a small cog in a big wheel, this small employment tax team could be exactly what you are looking for. With the infrastructure of a big firm to support you, there is lots of scope to make your mark in this well-regarded accountancy firm.
The firm’s employment tax offering is expanding due to strong growth both within employment tax itself and the wider tax division. Working directly to the head of team, you will enjoy a variety of work across the employment tax spectrum, from IR35 and end of year compliance (PSAs/P11Ds) through to due diligence reviews, PAYE audits, CIS and the national minimum wage, and everything in between. You will be dealing with the day to day PAYE and NIC queries from clients, so good communication and client facing skills will be important.
There is a good mix of compliance and advisory work across a range of industry sectors in the current portfolio, from small OMBs to large multinational groups.
It is anticipated that you will be ATT qualified and have at least 3 years’ employment tax experience. You should be happy to work on your own initiative sometimes, as well as in conjunction with the head of team. The role will suit someone who takes pride in the quality of their delivery and is ambitious to progress. Sponsorship for further professional qualifications is available, if desired.
The firm fully embrace agile working and when you do come into the office, there is a delightful and welcoming working space with great amenities nearby.
