Indirect Tax Technology Manager - up to £100k

Outstanding opportunity to work for a market leading global tech group. In this varied and challenging role you will be working on a project(s) to build global indirect tax reporting tool(s). We are looking for an experienced indirect tax technology specialist to help steer the design, end user experience and complex tax functions within the tool(s). You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle working alongside development teams during the build, refinement and enabling end users when tool(s) are rolled out to compliance teams. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to use the strength of this global group to construct a cutting edge global indirect tax reporting tool(s).

Key job responsibilities

The role will be responsible for taking hands on day to day active participation in steering the build of a global indirect tax reporting tool(s).

This includes deep dive conversations with end users and using your own experience and expertise of complex indirect tax compliance requirements around the world to create a global fit-for-purpose indirect tax compliance tool(s).

You will be responsible for creating wire frames, prototypes and extensive requirements documentation. Working alongside the programming teams to ensure that the end product meets expectations and requirements.

You will need the ability to think-big and have the chance to input into the longer term global strategy. Have a strong bias for action and the ability to deliver results having previously pushed indirect tax reporting tools across the line. You will need to thrive in highly complex distributed system environments and strong communication skills in order to convey your vision of the solution to multiple teams. The role requires exceptional people skills to work alongside members of the compliance teams and partner with other technology teams.
