Bath-based tax administration company
Small family owned firm established over 30 years ago, providing niche UK tax administration services for non-UK residents - UK and foreign domiciled individuals and offshore companies - investing in UK property. It also handles property related matters for some landlords residing in the UK.
The Tax Administration service provides the personal, fixed fee, tailor-made service dedicated to dealing with all clients’ property-related HMRC matters and works in partnership with clients to ensure their tax affairs are managed efficiently. In detail it:
Prepares tax-adjusted income schedules from rental statements usually sourced directly from clients’ letting/management agents
Creates annual rental accounts detailing periodic and annual itemised income and expenditure, cash inflow and outflow of letting accounts with opening and closing balances held by clients’ agents. Provides an analysis of lettings agents float and any rent due and liaises with letting/management agents to resolve any financial issues. Prepares Financial Statements for corporate clients.
Submits client’s self-assessment tax returns and Corporation tax returns.
Prepares and submit client’s Annual Tax on Envelope Dwellings (ATED) returns; ATED Declarations and Non-Resident Capital Gain tax returns.
Receives and handles all HM Revenue & Customs communications on clients’ behalf, including obtaining tax repayments, and permission to receive rents gross without tax deducted at source.
This hybrid role is to oversee the above process and work with a Team of Tax administrators.
