Head of Tax - 12 months contract - Work from home !

Head of Tax interim in-house tax job, requires a Head of Tax with in-house, corporate tax experience.

This role can be worked from anywhere within the UK (must be within the UK), as the company are fully remote working. There may be the occasional meeting in London with the Big 4 advisers.

An excellent opportunity to take the reigns in tax and lead this small tax function, whilst implementing the change which have already occurred. Whilst the role leads across the taxes, in this position there is a corporate tax focus.

There are 2 direct reports - a Corporate Tax Manager and an Indirect Tax Manager, and the Head of Tax will further enhance the team through adding experience and being a point of reference.

There already exists a solid platform in the tax governance and risk management area, with further development and execution required. There is the review of corporate tax and VAT compliance, and monthly reporting tasks, along with supporting the business on its UK activities. A key aspect of the role is the interaction with HMRC and the continued development of this already strong relationship.

To be considered for this role, you must be available to start in November 2022 and to commit to the 12 months duration. You will have in-house tax experience and have worked at a senior level prior, in a Head of Tax or equivalent level role.

Not often does an interim Head of Tax role arise, and so this is an opportunity not to be seized.
