An exciting opportunity to join a multinational advertising group based in London as a Tax Assistant Manager.

Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the tax team in fulfilling UK compliance across VAT, employment taxes, and corporation tax and will also have exposure to a wide range of other tax matters.

This will suit newly qualified or part-qualified candidates who are looking to further their professional development with a reputable in-house tax function. Study support will be offered to part-qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide support to the Group Tax Manager by preparing the UK corporate tax returns and UK statutory accounts disclosures.
* Prepare UK employment tax compliance forms, including Short Term Business Visitors submissions, annual PAYE settlement agreement and annual share scheme reporting.
* Responding to- external auditor queries.
* Assisting the preparation of UK RDEC claims (with the support of third-party advisors).
* Fulfilling Senior Accounting Officer compliance requirements.
* Monitoring legislative changes both in the UK and overseas that may impact the business and highlighting expected impact.
* Input into the group quarterly tax reporting process.
* Support on other employment tax matters including RSUs compliance and international assignees tax advice
* Supporting Head of International Tax with transfer pricing matters, including defending tax audits and the provision of data to accounting teams.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and capabilities:

* Working towards or having already achieved ACA, CTA, ACCA (or alternative equivalent).
* At least 2 years' experience in practice or in an in-house team.
* In-house accounting experience is preferred but not essential.
