Our client is globally recognised as one of the leading international professional services firms, providing a broad range of tax services to its clients. They have offices throughout the UK but are particularly looking to fill roles in their Leeds office.

Your new role

As a Transfer Pricing Tax Assistant Manager, you will work with a variety of clients such as FTSE 250 companies, owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and private equity firms. You will be expected to develop, nurture and maintain your own client relationships and provide technical advice on a wide range of UK and international tax issues.

Your responsibilities will revolve around the delivery of transfer pricing services to businesses in the local market as well as national clients. This will include managing and supporting the development of transfer pricing planning strategies, designing and implementing policies and models, and handling compliance programmes and documentation preparation as well as audit defence. You will provide advice in relation to transfer pricing controversy, including supporting clients through enquiries, APA's and MPA's. You will liaise with HMRC in the development of advance pricing agreement and the resolution of enquiries. Further to this, you will mentor and/or manage more junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will have experience in either UK transfer pricing or international tax and have a strong sense of commercial awareness. Preferably, you will be ATT/CTA/ACA qualified, or equivalent, and be able to build long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
