Corporate Tax Accountant working for an established engineering consultancy based in Cheshire

Your new company
Your new company are a well known global engineering / consultancy service provider with a number of offices across the UK. Based in Warrington they are a well known for providing good quality service across a number of engineering / construction consultancy areas. Due to growth in their finance team, they are now are looking to expand the tax team department with a corporate tax professional.

Your new role
In your new role you will be joining an already established tax team of 5, feeding into a large global team of 40 spread across a few different countries. Reporting into the Senior Tax Manager you will be supporting the company with corporate tax compliance services. You will be handling all aspects of UK corporate tax compliance, getting involved with preparation/submission of returns, fixed assets, capital allowances preparation, group relief claims, CT61 filings and interest restriction filling. As well as tax compliance you will have scope to get involved with a number of different areas of tax across the group.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a corporate tax compliance background, with UK tax experience. Ideally you need to ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, however the company would consider someone who is ACA / ATT / ACCA qualified. You need to be confident working with a complex compliance and have some understanding of advisory / planning.

What you'll get in return
In return for this role you will receive a competitive salary between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on your level of experience. Its hybrid working, spending a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. You will also receive a number of other company wide benefits.
