As a part of a close-knit, pure advisory team within this highly respected firm you will gain valuable experience working closely on projects with senior team members. The role involves supporting the specialist Stamp Taxes team which advises on a wide range of SDLT, LBTT, LTT and Stamp Duty tax cases for both individual and corporate clients.

The team is looking for someone to specialise in Stamp Taxes in the longer term and it would be ideal if the individual already had a strong background in SDLT and other property taxes. However, an interest in specialising and wider advisory experience (direct tax or VAT) will also be considered especially if you have worked on one-off assignments and have strong report writing skills. There is no compliance. This is a stand alone advisory team (you will not be part of the personal or corporate self -assessment teams) and the firm does not offer stamp taxes compliance services.

Membership of the team offers excellent progression opportunities – several partners have been promoted from the team within recent years – and the exposure to new clients and new projects ensures that members of the team develop a deep understanding of tax technical work.
