Tax and Treasury Manager (FTSE-250 Real Estate Group)

This FTSE listed property group who have shown consistent growth in recent years are recruiting a standalone Tax and Treasury Manager to join their London team as they look to bring their tax team in-house for the first time. Joining a dynamic and highly performing finance function, this is a superb opportunity providing the successful applicant with excellent exposure to a variety of different departments across the group.

This would be the perfect first or second move and gives full autonomy for the individual and the ability to take control of the function.

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of accurate reporting of VAT and Corporation Tax, ensuring that VAT is appropriately charged and reported
- Be the go-to person for external tax advisors supporting with generation of the Group’s Corporate Tax returns.
- Maintaining timely submissions of annual Corporation Tax
- Ensuring group VAT compliance across the business including preparation and submission of group VAT returns
- Preparing tax disclosures for group annual financial statements.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation including International Master and Local Files
- Manage day to day treasury function, looking after group ash flow, loan repayments and advising on cash investments

Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience in tax accounting either gained in a practice or in-house environment
- Experience dealing with AlphaTax, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Treasury experience not essential
- A strong communicator, able to build relationships, and liaising effectively with senior management, and HMRC
