International Tax Director (In-House)

We are currently recruiting an International Tax Director for a global LLP based in London. This is a newly created opportunity, reporting into the Global Head of Tax and will provide the successful applicant full autonomy to be the subject matter expert for all elements of international tax including improving processes, leading a team and running a number of ongoing and upcoming exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee groups global compliance across all verticals, including partnership tax, corporation tax returns, tax reporting, VAT, payroll, statutory accounts etc.
- Liaise with non-tax professionals to ensure tax is completely understood by various teams across the business
- Ownership of the group’s employment taxes and assessing potential risks including IR35, P11Ds and PSAs
- Ensure transfer pricing is properly documented globally
- Manage a team to ensure exceptional delivery of business solutions whilst minimising tax risk
- Determine and manage ETR
- Manage relationships with external advisors for international compliance and assist with structuring cross-border transactions

Requirements:

- ACA/CTA/ADIT qualified from either a Big 4 or Top Tier firm or from another large LLP
- Partnership tax experience from either a practice or in-house position is essential
- Proven experience of tax strategy and tax compliance on an international scale
- Excellent communication skills as this role will be dealing with senior stakeholders
