Vice President of Tax, PE backed high growth company, London/ Hybrid, £130k plus package

Eton Bridge Partners is delighted to have been retained by a PE backed high growth company to appoint their Vice President of Tax.

Reporting to the CFO, this is an integral part, partnering closely with the business and senior management as their in-house tax advisor to provide more strategic and tactical decisions.

Role Overview:

· Prepare/ review quarterly and annual tax accounting and financial reporting
· Work with external auditors to provide supporting documentation
· Prepare monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliations
· Lead on tax due diligence of mergers and acquisitions
· Lead tax integration of acquired entities/ special projects
· Lead tax advice on acquisitions and exit strategy
· Co-ordinate, review and approve the preparation of outsourced US and international tax filings, returns and payments
· Prepare/ review responses and analysis on US and international tax audits and exams
· Complete analysis throughout the year to assist with the quarterly/ annual budget and forecasting
· Review tax transfer pricing analysis and calculations and maintain transfer pricing documentation
· Manage, prepare and file non-income tax related statutory compliance, filings and returns
· Continuously improve and recommend tax strategies and processes
· Stay current with tax related pronouncements and international legislatives

Candidate Experience:

· Tax qualified and proven experience (CTA/ACA or equivalent)
· International and M&A experience required, Big 4 preferred
· 10+ PQE with proven leadership in a global tax role
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to form and lead a high performing team
· Extensive US tax compliance experience
· Broad corporate income tax experience (i.e. R&D credit, state and local tax nexus)
· Organised and detailed for specific project plans and timelines
· Strong Excel and problem solving skills
· Worked in a fast- paced, high growth environment
· Self – starter willing to think outside the box, challenge and influence

Compensation: £130,000 plus package

Location: London Paddington / Hybrid working
