International Tax Senior Manager (Business Partner), Bochum Germany

This is an opportunity to join the global tax department of a large European multinational company and provide tax advice and business support for M&A deals, international tax planning and transfer pricing.

The company has recently undergone a massive transformation which has reorganised the company from top to bottom over the last two years. The role is part of a team of three supporting the Tax Director for this group.

This role focused on business partnering, freeing you from tax compliance to focus on supporting the business. This means taking on M&A projects, corporate tax planning, transfer pricing, and handling relationships with fiscal authorities. There is no tax compliance or tax reporting in the role. The purpose of the role is to share the workload of the Tax Director which will include managing tax projects and meetings with various stakeholders.

At least 8 years of experience in corporate tax and transfer pricing is needed, from a Big 4 firm, law firm, or from the in-house tax department of another multinational company. The Steuerberater qualification strongly preferred, fluency in English and German is essential.
