Interim Tax Reporting Manager, to £600 per day

We are working with a Global Pharmaceutical at the moment, assisting with an interim hire for a Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Group Tax department of a fast-moving, major organisation. This will be a 3-6 month assignment (possibly longer) to provide support whilst a permanent hire is recruited. Key areas of focus will initially be reporting and then assisting with implementing tax technology.

Depending on time taken to recruit a permanent hire, activities might include:

* The Group year end reporting process, including:

* The collation and processing of data reported by each of our countries, through our Regional Tax Directors
* Tax schedules for central units
* Group tax consolidation
* Annual report disclosures
* Preparation of SOX reports
* Use of Longview tax reporting technology solution

* The Group half year reporting process
* Group tax forecasting and cash tax management
* Year end and half year preparation and training
* Updating and maintaining SOX process schedules
* Maintenance and enhancement of tax automation software
* Country by Country Reporting
* Total Tax Contribution
* Other needs and requirements pertaining to Group tax reporting and compliance
* Liaising with the Group external auditors
* Assisting with UK corporation tax compliance
* Maintaining strong and effective relationships and communication with other parts of the Group Tax team
* Building and maintaining relationships with Group Finance and GBS Finance, and other corporate areas.

Daily rates will be £400-£600 per day (PAYE/ Umbrella) depending on experience. Start date will be mid November.
