We are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established medium sized firm of chartered accountants based in the Southwest of Ireland, that are keen to appoint a highly accomplished Tax Senior.
The firm has a broad range of clients across a diverse range of sectors to include media, law, FCA, property, not for profit, authors and offshore trusts.
Role Requirements -
Managing your own portfolio of personal clients, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the strong relationships which are key to the firm’s growth, as well as assisting other tax department personnel with work on their portfolios as required.
The role is primarily personal tax compliance focused but there will be ad hoc advice and projects to be provided.
Confident self-starter with good interpersonal skills with at least four years tax experience.
Experience gained in managing a portfolio of clients.
Willing and able to work under pressure and cope flexibly with, at times, demanding deadlines.
Have well developed client liaison skills.
Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to think laterally meaning you can identify potential problems and providing solutions.
Fully conversant with current tax issues and conversant with relevant legislation, case law etc.
Show initiative, exercise judgement, and take ownership of issues from start to finish.
Person Requirements -
At a minimum you will be ATT qualified, but preferably CTA qualified.
Ideally, a graduate with a relevant accountancy qualification
