International Tax Director --- Multinational Company in Antwerp --- Flexible location (Belgium, the Netherlands, France or Germany)

Our client, a global leader in its sector, is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Director. The role can either be based in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, or Germany.

Reporting directly to the VP Tax, the Corporate Tax Director will be accountable for managing global tax issues, providing tax advice to the business, managing a range of international tax planning projects (M&A, due diligence, structuring), working on Transfer Pricing matters (designing TP policies, dealing with TP issues, managing costs etc), handling international tax audits. This position will also deal with other projects related to corporate finance matters, repatriation of profits, capitalisation etc.

The tax compliance is done by the finance and controllership teams, so this position is focused on tax advice, tax planning and risk mitigation.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director to take a number 2 role with the potential to step into a VP Tax position in the future.

The role needs someone with solid direct tax experience across multiple jurisdictions & strong business partnering skills to build strong relationship with all functions across the group.

This role will fit someone with tax experience gained in consulting as well as in industry. It needs someone with extensive international corporate tax experience & Transfer Pricing experience. Fluency in English is a must, and any other languages will be a real advantage.
